One in Million

How it works

One in a million. One permanent number.

One in Million gives something worth remembering a number. Five collections, 1,000,000 places in each, and exactly one #1 per collection.

  1. Choose a collection

People, Achievements, Creations, Pets or Moments. Each one numbers itself from #000001 to #1000000 and is ranked only against itself, so a Pet never competes with a Moment. You may enter as many times as you like; every entry pays for and receives its own number.

  2. Confirm what you are submitting

You name your subject, confirm the image is yours to submit, accept the terms and the submission guidelines, and disclose whether it was generated or materially altered by AI.

  3. Receive your number

Numbers are issued strictly in sequence by the server, one at a time, after payment is confirmed. You never choose it, and it is never reissued to anyone else.

  4. A person reviews it

Every entry starts private and visible only to you. It joins the wall once it has been reviewed. Entering buys your place and your number — it does not oblige us to publish your entry.

  5. The community votes

Anyone can browse. Voting takes an account, with one active vote per person per entry, and you can change it or withdraw it at any time. You cannot vote on your own entry.

What happens if something goes wrong

You pay and get no number. That is the one case we refund in full — an unconfirmable charge, a duplicate charge, or a failure on our side. An entry costs $1 USD, and your number is issued only after our server confirms the payment with Razorpay directly, so an incomplete payment cannot produce an entry.

A number is never returned. Once issued it leaves the sequence permanently — even if the payment behind it is refunded, and even if the entry is later removed. See refunds.

What is permanent

Your number. It is allocated once, in sequence within its collection, and never changes, never repeats, and is never given to anyone else. If an entry is removed, its number retires with it rather than returning to circulation.
